Voice Zoom 3 on your Google TV™

    The new Voice Zoom 3™ feature automatically adjusts voice levels to make dialogue easier to hear. You can increase or reduce voice volume without affecting background sounds.

    How to turn on Voice Zoom 3

    Follow these steps to enable and adjust Voice Zoom 3:

    1. On the remote control, press the Quick Settings (spanner or gear) button.
    2. Select Voice Zoom.
    3. Adjust the Voice Zoom level
      • Zero or higher increases voice clarity (up to +6).
      • Below zero reduces voice volume, making it harder to hear.

    Supported devices

    Voice Zoom 3 works with:

    • TV speakers
      Note: To configure Voice Zoom 3 for your speakers:
      1. On the remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Display & Sound.
      4. Select Picture & Sound.
      5. Select Sound Quality (TV speakers).
      6. Select Post-process settings.
      7. Select Standard.
    • Sony audio devices that support Voice Zoom 3

    Notes:

    • When using TV speakers, Voice Zoom 3 is not available if:
      • Audio is output simultaneously to wired headphones or a Bluetooth device.
      • A wireless speaker is connected.
    • When a Sony audio device that supports Voice Zoom 3 is connected, Voice Zoom 3 may not be available if:
      • Digital audio output is set to Pass-through priority
      • Audio is output simultaneously to wired headphones or a Bluetooth device
      • Audio from another device (such as a DVD player) is routed to the TV through the audio device.
      • The audio device is set to a specific sound mode.
