What to do if there is no sound input from the audio device that is connected to Roland's EDIROL UA-5 even after setting the system in recording standby state?

There is no sound input from the audio device that is connected to Roland's EDIROL UA-5 even after setting the system in recording standby state.

To resolve this symptom, please perform the following adjustment on EDIROL UA-5:

    A. When the audio device is connected to the Input 1/L Input jack 1 or the Input 2/R input jack 2 located on the front panel of EDIROL UA-5:
Turn SENS (input sensitivity knob) clockwise to increase the input level.
Use respective SENS (input sensitivity knobs) to adjust Input 1/L and Input 2/R.

    B. When the audio device is connected to the Input L/R input jack 3/4 located on the EDIROL UA-5 rear panel, turn INPUT VOLUME (input jack 3/4 adjustment volume) clockwise to increase the input level.

If the problem persists, please refer to the Startup Manual supplied with EDIROL UA-5 or visit Roland's website for more information.
