What is the difference between the two included remote controls?

Depending on the model or region, two different remote controls are included with your TV.

RF (Radio Frequency) remote control with Google Assistant or MIC button:

This remote control has a simple design and can use Google Assistant or voice search function. And this is a wireless remote control, so you don't have to point it at the TV to operate it.

    • Examples of other buttons:
      •  (HOME): Display the TV Home Menu.
      • spanner or gear (Quick Settings): Display Quick Settings. You can quickly access features such as Picture mode or Sleep timer on the current screen, and settings such as Audio output depending on the connected devices. You can also display Settings from Quick Settings.
      •  (MENU) or  (Control menu): Display a menu on the TV to use button functions that are not on the remote control on the screen.

Note:  On the RMF-TX920RMF-TX910 or RMF-TX900 remote control only, you can press the TV Power button to use the convenient Find remote feature to locate the RF remote control. For details, refer to the Help Guide.

IR (Infrared) remote control without Google Assistant or MIC button:

If you would like to use buttons directly (Number buttons, Subtitle setting, Text button, etc.), use this remote control.
