My MHL device does not charge when the TV is in standby.
Follow the steps below to check whether MHL charging during standby is set to On.
- Press the Home button on remote.
- Select External inputs in the TV category.
- Select BRAVIA Sync settings.
- Select MHL charging during standby.
- Set to On.
To charge an MHL device while in standby mode, it is necessary to adjust the settings as indicated above and to connect the device while the TV is turned on.
If your device does not charge even when MHL charging during standby is set to On, reconnect the MHL cable after turning on the TV by remote control.
